Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Jammu & Drive to Katra (2 hrs.)

Meet on arrival at Jammu airport/ railway station and drive to Katra for Vaishnodevi Darshan. Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words “maa” and “mata” are commonly used in India for “mother”, and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Once you arrive at your Hotel, you will be duly checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight at Katra . ( Note: Due to Jammu Union, Guest has to Come to Jammu Pick Up Point ( at their own cost )

Day 2 : Katra (Vaishnodevi Darshan)

Early morning start for Vaishnodevi climb (Total 13 kms walk to the temple that takes about 4-5 hours). Enroute stops at Adhkwari Temple and darshan at Baba Bhaironath Temple is recommended). During Summer and peak travel season it may be advisable to start the climb previous evening. Once queue tickets are purchased the wait period could be half an hour to 3 hours depending on the rush. During season Yatra Parchi (entry tickets required to beging the uphill walk), it is recommended to purchase in advance to avoid delays. Guests looking for Helidarshan (Helicopter ride, darshan and back), morning flights are recommeded for best weather and least uncertainity. Return by late evening.

Day 3 : Katra - Day excursion to Patnitop

After a leisurely breakfast this morning, get ready for a day excursion to beautiful hill station Patnitop. Patnitop is a perfect place to enjoy the picturesque beauty. Perfect place for the day picnic and beautiful sights. Later, drive back to Katra. Stroll among the local market roads on your own to Katra. Overnight at respective hotel.

Day 4 : Katra - Shivkhori excursion

On this day we proceed Shiv khori which is 80km away & it takes 2hrs . Khori means cave (Guffa) and Shiv Khori thus denotes Shiva’s cave. This natural cave is about 200 metres long, one metre wide and two to three metres high and contains a self-made lingam, which according to the people is unending. The first entrance of the cave is so wide that 300 devotees can be accommodated at a time. Its cavern is spacious to accommodate large number of people. The inner chamber of the cave is smaller. Overnight at Katra.

Day 5 : Katra Hotel to Jammu Railway station drop

Today after early breakfast we checkout from Hotel and proceed to Jammu
